THE INTERNSHIP: New Trailer For James Bamford’s Latest January Actioner

“Based on a true story” is not exactly something I expected here but that’s part of the PR here for director James Bamford’s new action thriller, The Internship. Bamford directs a cast led by Lizzy Greene, from a script by J.D. Zeik.

A ruthless, highly trained assassin, raised from childhood in a top-secret CIA program known only as The Internship, is ready to dismantle the institution that stole her youth. Assembling her fellow interns, she leads a bloody uprising – forcing the CIA to unleash equally lethal force to stop them.

Also starring are Megan Boone, Sky Katz, and Philip Winchester, along with Alix Villaret, Ollie Roddy and Sullivan Stapleton for the film’s Janaury 13 release on Digital. Check out the trailer:

Oh, I’m really pumped for this one! James Bamford has a knack for blending his stunt background with great action choreography. Have you seen his work on *Arrow*? The fight scenes there were so dynamic and well-crafted.

I love how he manages to keep the action grounded and practical, which is something we don't see enough in mainstream action today. Can't wait to see what stunts and fights he'll deliver in this film! The anticipation is real!
