THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER Trailer Wields More Epic Epicness To Come

If I could open the pages of a book and travel into its setting, visiting Middle-earth would be in my top five destinations. Re-watching the extended versions of The Lord of the Rings movies is one of my favorite things to do and I even enjoyed pieces of The Hobbit films just because I got to go back to Middle-earth. And, come September 1st, thanks to Prime Video, I get to go back again.
Unless you are completely oblivious to pop culture and upcoming releases, you should know that The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power series has been happening since 2018. Don’t believe me? Search our website.
Set in the Second Age of Middle-earth’s history (thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings), according to the press releases, this seriesfollows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elf-capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.
The newest trailer just dropped yesterday. Here’s the link if you haven’t seen it yet:

Ours was no chance meeting…Not fate…Nor destiny…Ours was the work of something greater.

Chills. I am covered in geeky goosebumps and I am shivering in antici…pation. Did you have a favorite part of the trailer? It’s full of battle scenes reminiscent of Peter Jackson’s previous installments in this franchise, glimpses of all the familiar beings from Middle-earth, and of course all of those gorgeous sceneries.
The first two episodes will air September 1st and 2nd with the rest of the episodes being released weekly until the finale on October 14th. Guess there’s nothing else to do until then but re-watch the other films and play LOTR Monopoly…
