Actor and director Fred Nguyen Khan takes on his latest love letter to Kung Fu Hustle in the new kung fu comedy short, The Miserable Misfortunes Of My Marvelous Master. Khan stars opposite co-star/fight choreographer Yuu Ki in the role of a blind master who appears to be more than what he presents against his jaded competition, played by Khan.
The result? An eighteen-minute assortment of kung fu comedy gags and all around delight which ought to bode nicely for fanboys. Also, why does Duy Nguyen have a crab in his bag? Ouch…
