The New DOCTOR STRANGE Teaser Journeys Into The Awesomely Bizzare

The third phase of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is officially underway come next month’s release of Captain America: Civil War, and talk is already a stir for the Avengers: Infinity War films in the next several years. Alas, following its recent completion in New York City, director Scott Derrickson’s new Marvel adaptation, Doctor Strange, is on deck for a release on November 4, 2016, and has spent much of the past year promising some exciting new things in its addition to the fray for the MCU, and so far this week, it doesn’t appear to be overhype at the very least.

“Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

“Doctor Strange” is the latest film in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase 3’s goal—over the course of four years and nine films—is to introduce audiences to new heroes and continue the adventures of fan favorites.

As per what usually occurs whenever a comic book movie teaser approaches, late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel accomodated fans with a first look at the dilm on Tuesday night. Actor Benedict Cumberbatch who stars in the title role was on hand to erect some of his own brand of humor as well to warm up the crowd as you’ll see below.
As for the teaser, it’s safe to say that the choice of actress in Tilda Swinton to play an Asian male mystic martial arts master is not without its share of controversy, and so the film isn’t going to sit well with a lot of people on that end. Nonetheless and Swinton’s own efforts notwithstanding, the film boasts a great cast to keep things level with the likes of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen and martial arts sensation Scott Adkins headlining this latest feat from the Marvel base that looks very promising in its induction into the bizzare that our hero journeys through in the course of battling evil.
It all goes down this November, so watch the first teaser below in both versions for your choosing.
