THOR: THE DARK WORLD Gets IMAX Treatment Starting This Friday

Coming off of the latest red carpet premiere of director Alan Taylor‘s comic book superhero sequel, Thor: The Dark World in Los Angeles, Marvel and IMAX Corporation are letting filmgoers in on the details with a new press release for its upcoming IMAX release when it is released nationwide on Friday.

The film isn’t resting on its last leg of promotion with some thunderous reviews and international box office success in the past week since the film debuted overseas, in addition to its mention in the upcoming crossover episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. on November 19, actor Tom Hiddleston featured in Marvel’s latest podcast, and a LOT of talk about actress Jaimie Alexander merging with DC territory as Wonder Woman for a possible standalone film or the pending Batman vs. Superman movie.
In other words, chalk another one up for the folks at Disney prior to this coming slate of Marvel movies before 2015’s The Avengers: Age Of Ultron and onward. Moreover, this pretty much establishes Taylor‘s credentials as the director of the forthcoming Terminator movie he wants actor Arnold Schwarzenegger in on.
Be excited folks, and watch this space.
