TORNADO: Vicious Gangsters Reap The Samurai Whirlwind In The Official Trailer

IFC Films is readying moviegoers with the first official trailer for 18th century action thriller, Tornado. The film is directed by John Maclean (Slow West) and stars Tim Roth, Jack Lowden, and Takehiro Hira, joining lead actress Koki who starred in last year’s Icelandic drama, Touch.

When her father’s puppet Samurai show is ambushed by a notorious gang, Tornado vows to seek vengeance and forge her own destiny by stealing the gang’s ill-gotten gold.

I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m keen on a new Western/samurai hybrid myself. This one opens in theaters on May 30, so keep an eye out for this one in your local cinemas going forward.
