TRON: ARES Teases Key Character Reveal For The Third Entry
Entertainment news dives back into franchise territory with a closer look at the character actor Jared Leto will play in Tron: Ares. Production is under way from director Joachim Rønning and a cast that also lists Evan Peters, Greta Lee, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson. Steven Lisberger, Bonnie MacBird, and Jack Thorne penned the pic.
Tron: Ares follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.
Tron: Ares is the long-anticipated threequel to the franchise that took off in 1982 with Steven Lisberger’s Tron, and continued with Joseph Kosinski’s 2010 successor, Tron: Legacy. The new chapter will release in 2025 from Disney.
