UK College Students + SG Action Team Up To Make PRIME CONTACT!

The folks over at Leeds-based UK martial arts film and performance stunt and acting troupe, SG Action, have shared a new bulletin with their followers on Tuesday pertaining to what lies ahead with the forthcoming production of a student film project in the form of Prime Contact. The short film comes from the latest efforts of producer Harry Woodman, writer Dominic Lehany and director Andrew Kueh – three of a small group of University of York student filmmakers who have been working very hard at crowdfunding through Kickstarter to develop a genre action film focused on one man’s unique ability to transfer his conscience to other people through skin contact, a skill he must use in the battle he must face to find his body, and the answers he needs before his conscience is lost forever.

Based on the campaign video, you can pretty much understand how far these aspiring filmmakers are willing to go bring their filmic vision and creativity to the business end of a camera. Not to mention, with the increasing quality of work now being put out by our friends at SG Action, their endorsement says a lot about just how serious they are with this particular student film, as it would not only grant Kueh and his crew their due recognition, but it would give SG a chance to illustrate their brand of action design in science fiction setting for the first time.
Active links to the official social networking accounts for both SG Action and Prime Contact can be found at the end of the vlog in the embed below where you may also subscribe to SG Action‘s official YouTube channel.

Our own Scott Wiley in the UK has volunteered to cover this project in the weeks and months ahead leading up to the hopeful kickoff for filming in February next year. In the meantime, watch the Vlog below, and CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE OFFICIAL KICKSTARTER PAGE FOR PRIME CONTACT to learn more about how you may help contribute to this ambitious new sci-fi action thriller, and the perks you can benefit from.

Special thanks to producer Harry Woodman for reaching out to Film Combat Syndicate for this story. We will be in touch!
