Watch A Special Tribute To The Late Dennis Ruel

Nearly eight months since the passing of actor, martial artist and filmmaker Dennis Ruel, a new video is now online courtesy of YouTuber Tarek Arehal who spent the last several months getting as many willing participants together for his own tribute to the late indie action star and stalwart. Contributors partly include Eric Jacobus, Amy Sturdivant, Stephen Reedy, Jose Montesinos, Aaron Toney and Andy Long Nguyen among the extensive roster.

I’m thankful for this as well. Ruel’s untimely death leaves a deep scar on his community – one that will be healing for quite some time. Arehal’s latest edit here lends some much needed grace in that process for those of us – friends and fans alike – who’ve gotten to know Ruel through his work and even through correspondence.
