International action star Tony Jaa took to his Facebook page on Tuesday night to announce action star Michael Jai White and actor Ron Pearlman as official casting additions among several more to be made for the upcoming production of Skin Trade. Interestingly enough, White’s addition comes almost exactly two months after Jaa‘s dinner and photo-op with White and a few other friends went viral leading some to suspect White would be joining Jaa for his Hollywood debut in the now stalled production of Fast And Furious 7.

Primed for a 2014 release, Skin Trade is directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham and is based on a screenplay from starring actor and producer Dolph Lundgren, and screenwriters Gabriel Dorwick and Steven Elder with another draft by John Hyams, centered around the story of a tough New York cop who flies to Thailand in pursuit of his family’s killer with the help of a local detective. The film is also produced by Craig Baumgarten and Mike Selby, and Ying Julaluck Ismalone serving as line producer, with action choreography by David Ismalone.
Jaa is also tapped to star in the upcoming production of SPL 2 with actor Jacky Wu Jing. Lundgren will also be seen in his latest villainous performance in the forthcoming revenge action thriller, A Certain Justice, starring Cung Le, while Uekrongtham is also putting the finishing touches for the Bangkok debut of his upcoming live action stage show, Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives.
