WIND BREAKER: WB Japan Announces Cast For New Live-Action Adaptation!
Warner Bros. Japan just eked out a new teaser and poster volley announcing the cast of Kentaro Hagiwara’s Wind Breaker. The delinquent action thriller stars Koshi Mizukami (Caution: Hazardous Wife – The Movie, Hakkenden) stars from a script by Yosuke Masaike, based on Satoru Nii’s hit manga and subsequent animated series.
Mizukami plays Haruka Sakura, a skilled fighter and new student at the delinquent-ridden Furin High where he meets and befriends the Bofurin (the Wind Breakers), the school’s sole protector of the town. Joining the cast as of Tuesday’s announcement are Taisei Kido (What to Do with the Dead Kaiju?), and Keito Tsuna (Shinmai Kisha Torokko), along with Junon of Be:First, Motoki Nakazawa (The Silent Service), and Shuhei Uesugi (Netflix’s “Yu Yu Hakusho”).
