Worlds Collide For The Fate Of Many In The New Trailer For Duncan Jones's WARCRAFT

Today is Friday, and that means Bilzzcon day over at Blizzard Entertainment where the first official trailer has now viral for Duncan Jones‘s latest video game incarnation, Warcraft. Notably with this film, it’s Jones’s wish to break the so-called “video game movie curse” which has crippled similar titles of the genre, and if that’s the case, the trailer is proof positive of that effort because it simply looks stunning and gorgeous as all hell.

Sweeping views of a fantasy world on land and in the skies above, an array of creature and costume designs with a CG-enhanced performance capture as top quality as that of The Lord Of The Rings saga; Every inch of this so far looks absolutely dazzling with a vision and scope deserving of an audience, and one which will hopefully show out upon the film’s release on June 10, 2016 from Legendary and Universal.
SYNOPSIS:

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

Jones directed and co-wrote the film with Charles Leavitt for a cast that features Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wu. Watch the sprawling and ceremonious new trailer below!
