YOROÏ: Catch The Official Trailer For The French-Japanese Fantasy Actioner Bowing In October
The official trailer for Yoroï has arrived online for a progressive theatrical rollout in France beginning early October. The film, hailing from Sony Pictures International, joins French rapper, star and director Orelsan with primary co-helmer and long time collaborator, direcror David Tomaszewski.
After a final, grueling tour, Aurélien decides to settle in Japan with his wife Nanako, who is pregnant with their first child. As the young couple moves into a traditional house in the Japanese countryside, Aurélien discovers an ancestral armor in a well that awakens strange creatures, the Yokai.
Yoroï also stars Clara Choï who plays the very pregnant on-screen spouse and who can also be seen in the newest poster now making the rounds. The trailer below is a sight to see as well, and the fact that it features action sequences by Manu Lanzi (Vincent Must Die, The Gravity, Aka), and Kensuke Sonomura cohort Kouji Kawamoto (Big Brother, John Wick Chapter 4, Rurouni Kenshin franchise) should make this all the more enticing.
