ZWIJGRECHT: Know Your Rights In The Official Trailer For The New Dutch Crime Flick
Writer/director Jelle Posthuma and the team behind their latest crime drama, Zwijgrecht, have been busy pounding the pavement since last year for its promotion. The film has since screened in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, bolstered in its profile by a youth-focused campaign which further helped garnered its distinction, winning the Hein Roethof Prize late last year.
For this, the official trailer is now online as well with Dutch label WW Entertainment and the producers at Kinofilm signaling an October 30 release. Zwijgrecht, otherwise known as The Right To Remain Silent, stars Yasin Lubbe and Geronimo Comvalius, along with Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Imanuelle Grives, and Andrea Rafaella.
Ilyas and Orlando, childhood friends from Amsterdam, have carved out a niche for themselves in the underworld. After a series of successful heists in the port of Rotterdam, they’re known as reliable players in the criminal scene. But Ilyas wants out. He dreams of a different life with his girlfriend, Amber.
