High Rollers is the latest crime thriller heading for theatrical release out of Saban Films, starring John Travolta and Gina Gershon. The official trailer is out with a day and date release set for March 14. Master thief Mason (John Travolta) is living the criminal’s dream: island-hopping with his crew and the love of his life, Decker (Gina Gershon), while floating on a sea of stolen cash. But his dream is shattered when his nemesis, the ruthless Salazar, kidnaps Decker and forces Mason and his crew to attempt a near-impossible casino heist in exchange for her return. Hedged in by Salazar’s equally ruthless rivals, and with the FBI on his tail, Mason gambles everything in pursuit of both the big score and the ultimate jackpot: Decker’s life. IVES directs from a script by Chris Sivertson. Also starring are Lukas Haas, and Quavo.
SHOWTIME 7: Catch The Latest Trailer For The New Thriller Starring Hiroshi Abe
Taking a page from Kim Byung-woo’s 2013 thriller, The Terror Live, is director Kazutaka Watanabe with the explosive new thriller, Showtime 7. The campaign for this film has been running since late last year and the latest official trailer is now making the rounds. Watanabe directs Showtime 7 from his own script which casts Hiroshi Abe in the role of a former popular news anchor-turned-radio host who finds himself mitigating terroristic bomb threats with a mysterious caller. The description teases something even twistier will happen with Abe’s character in the last six minutes which, admittedly, has me curious to say the least. Also starring are Ryo Ryusei, Meri Nukumi, Mizuki Maehara, Tetsu Hirahara, Kouki Uchiyama, Tamae Ando, Mitsuru Hirata, Haruka Igawa, and Kotaro Yoshida. The movie is set to release on Friday in Japan.

The latest trailer is online for director Genki Takikawa’s two-part finale to 2023’s delinquent action drama dance thriller, Battle King!!: We’ll Rise Again. For this, the back-to-back ‘Intro’ and ‘Finale’ entries of Battle King!!: Map Of The Mind are set for their respective releases in Japan on February 14, and on March 14 from Stardust Pictures (S.D.P.), the film arm of Tokyo-based talent agency, Stardust Promotions. Takikawa continues his directing duties from the first film, and also co-penned the sequels with returning screenwriter Keisuke Fukutani, and with action direction by Matt Okui.
