BREAKARATE: Zak Stoltz’s Neon-Lit 80’s Fantasy Martial Arts Series Saves The World On May 15 Only On Amazon Prime

It was back around June of 2018 that details finally emerged for Breakarate, Zack Stoltz’s neon-lit, 80’s-infused throwback martial arts comedy series. It included a world premiere at SeriesFest from Gunpower & Sky, and now it appears it’s finally landed a home, premiering Friday, May 15 on Amazon Prime.

Blending influences from hallmark hits such as Breakin’, Gymkata, and The Karate Kid, Breakarate centers on adopted brothers Blake (Trevor Logan) and Lance Thompson (Brian Siregar), longtime students of the ancient art of Breakarate who stumble across the hidden Chain of Beats in the basement of The Rec.

Upon learning of its world destroying abilities when connected to the Medallion Of Dopeness, the two brothers must band together to defeat a legion of Evil Butthead dance clans led by the villainous Neon Ninja and her Punkung-Fu army to keep the Chain of Beats safe and save the world…all while looking fly as heck!

Breakarate is written by Patrick Cox and Clay Baird, and produced by Ryland Aldrich, Jude Harris and Alysia Russo, and currently stretches at eight 11-15 minute episodes per details at Gunpowder & Sky.

Logan is an industry stunt performer and actor based in L.A., and whose respective credits also include Thugs Of Hindostan, Transformers: The Last Knight, and upcoming films Free Guy, Aimee and Netflix thriller Army Of The Dead. Anomg the rest of the cast are actresses Miah Blake (The Little Mermaid Live) and Nikki Tuazon (S.W.A.T.), actors actors Gichi Gamba (L.A.’s Finest), Joe Hursley (The Connors), Doug Penikas (Gone With The Bullets) and T.J. Storm (Revenger).
