BUYBUST: THE UNDESIRABLES Signals With New Stills And Clip Ahead Of Series Premiere
Netflix is slowly ramping up its Asian slate in the past month, nowadays with the Philippines in its sights as we now look toward the launch of BuyBust: The Undesirables. The nine-part episodic spun from director Erik Matti’s gritty 2018 action crime flick takes shape with lead actress Anne Curtis back in crimefighting form for the new series thriller hitting the streamer in 2026.
In a lawless dystopian city, a vengeful ex-cop and a corporate outcast unite to confront a ruthless drug lord after a senator’s daughter is murdered.
Matti directs from a script by Michiko Yamamoto, Mary Rose Colindres, Leovic Arceta, and Jim Flores. Gerald Anderson also stars in the series which is produced by Millette Soto, and exec produced by BuyBust veteran Dondon Monteverde.
