Deathstroke Strikes In Episode 1 Of NIGHTWING: THE SERIES

If DC Comics properties are more your speed and you’re in need of a buzz between episodes of the new hit series, Gotham, look no further than Monday’s launch of the new five-episode only, Nightwing: The Series. Directed by Adam Zielinski, creator, producer and lead actor Danny Sheperd channels his latest performance as the title role as he begins inching his way toward the cruel misgivings of the notorious assassin, Deathstroke.

Zielinski and his team spent a few years from intial crowdfunding efforts in trying to make this series, just one in several efforts in recent years by independent filmmakers to help grant the popular character its due justice in the DC/Batman universe. That said, if the positive reaction to the initial series trailer doesn’t say anything else, what it does say is that this series is going to be a lot of fun for the next five weeks. Sure, it may be a little more violent than the average superhero movie, but this one is strictly for the fans, so grow some balls and don’t complain!
