The new trailer for Dolph Lundgren‘s latest sci-fi action thriller from director Christopher Hatton, Battle Of The Damned is finally online. Unfortunately the first trailer is only in German with no subs as of yet, but more should be on the way though, now that the film has acquired multiple territories for distribution, including U.S.A. and Austrailia.
Lundgren is also slated to star in the upcoming release of Blood Of Redemption, the China release of Eric Styles‘ film, Legendary, as well as Tony Jaa‘s latest, A Man Will Rise, and Cung Le‘s recently wrapped production of A Certain Justice, where Lundgren also served as an executive producer. And if things go accordingly, we may get to see him in The Expendables 3.
Battle Of The Damned also stars Matt Doran, David Field, Melanie Zanetti and Jeff Pruitt, and is slated for German home release on August 1, 2013.
In the near future on the outskirts of civilization a remote test facility lays in ruin following a catastrophic security breach. The breach led to a viral outbreak that left thousands dead or mutated. All that remains are a handful of survivors, their small armory of weapons and a fleet of the infected. Led by private military operative Max Gatling (Lundgren), they fight the infected and soon learn there are bands of malfunctioning prototype robots also on the march and they are armed and incredibly dangerous.
