Fighting Spirit Film Festival 2022: WAY OF THE DRAGON, NEW YORK NINJA, SURVIVING BOKATOR And More Headline London Events Next Month!

The Fighting Spirit Film Festival is following up its Spring events in Birmingham with a two-day Bruce Lee-themed event jam-packed with a celebration of action and martial arts in London’s Stratford East Picturehouse on September 10 and 11.

The full line-up is available at the official website, with as many as five titles for its feature line-up, and twenty-one shorts presentations, including the Out-Of-Competition screening of Blood And Bone helmer Ben Ramsey’s 2015 indie comic adaptation, Black Salt. There will also be several guest events, including a screen combat seminar by stuntman Philip D’Orléans (King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword) and a martial arts demo by Elbiz Bison and his team at Bison MMA.

There will also be five feature films to catch at the two-day events throughout, with support in part by London’s Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office. Two of the films will be documentaries with the other three serving up classic action delights, including and not limited to Mark Boschler’s Cambodian martial arts doc Surviving Bokator, Michelle Aguilar’s MMA doc Momentum, Kurtis Spieler’s celebrated revival of John Liu’s out-of-the-ashes 80s action adventure New York Ninja, and King Hu’s The Valiant Ones; The FSFF is partnering with New Day Pictures, British Cinematographer, and Digital Orchard for the shortfilm awards before the closing event screening of Bruce Lee’s Way Of The Dragon.

Tickets are currently on sale for the event, which you can learn more about on the official website.
