KELUANG MAN Teaser: Beware The Fruit Bat-Man!
That headline? Yep. Such was part of the inspiration for Kamn Ismail’s 90s animated riff on DC Comics property, Batman. It was a hit too, and with director Anwari Ashraf at the helm, Keluang Man has its own feature film adaptation with a teaser now online below, and a May 29 release date from the good folks at Astro Shaw.
Actor and musician Nas-T (a.k.a. Nas Muammar Zar) stars in the titular psych patient-turned-crimefighting alter ego who makes enemies on both sides of the law. Also starring are Rosyam Nor, Remi Ishak, Shweta Sekhon, and Farhaziq Abdul Manaf who also serves on the film’s fight team unit under action director Saiful Reza Shukor.
