KILL ME: Comedy Thriller Wraps In Utah, Adds Three To The Cast
Casting is further announced for comedic thriller, Kill Me, with the additions of Giancarlo Esposito (Captain America: Brave New World), Aya Cash (Amazon series “The Boys”) and Jessica Harper (Minority Report). The trio join Charlie Day and Allison Williams for the pic from writer/director Peter Warren (The Auteur), just as principal photography has wrapped in Utah.
Day plays Jimmy, who wakes up in a bathtub after having tried to kill himself. Or, at least, that’s what it looks like to his friends and family. Jimmy is pretty sure he didn’t do it…Maybe. Williams plays Margot, the 911 operator who took his Jimmy’s call as they then set out on a mission to solve a vitally important whodunit: did someone try to kill him, or are they chasing the specter of depression?
XYZ Films is producing alongside Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg for Dark Horse Entertainment, as well as Day and Warren, and Vanishing Angle’s Natalie Metzger. XYZ Films is also financing with funding from IPR.VC and Rabbits Black.
Exec producers include Paul Schwake and Kasey Adler for Dark Horse, Matt Miller for Vanishing Angle, and Timo Argillander, Andrea Scarso, and actors Williams and Esposito. Oli Strong, Ronnie Exley, Jeremy Ross and Sean Krajewski of Rabbits Black exec produced next to Eric Bromberg.
