MANTIS Teases Action-Packed ‘Kill Boksoon’ Spin-Off Coming In September!

Director Byun Sung-hyun’s 2023 actioner, Kill Boksoon, now gets the successor fans of the film have been waiting for with the new spin-off, Mantis. The official teaser arrived on Tuesday evening with a cast led by Yim Si-wan and Park Gyu-young, and Jo Woo-jin signaling the next generation of assassins.

Mantis is an action that follows Mantis, an ace assassin returning to a collapsed-order hired killer industry after his vacation. Upon reentering this anarchic world, Mantis encounters Jae-yi, his fellow trainee and rival, and Dok-go, a retired legendary killer, and realizes they are all vying for the top spot among the killers.

Byun shares writing duties with Lee Tae-sung who makes his feature directing debut.
