Sexy Heist Action Comedy, HOW TO CON A CON, Needs Your Help On Indiegogo!

My earlier experiences last year while writing for Film Combat Syndicate has led me to come across some amazing and noteworthy projects, and people as well. One such project includes former stuntman-turned-filmmaker Scott Rhodes’s highly acclaimed 1960’s/70’s homage costumed action comedy series, The Adventures Of Super7even, which brought me to the talents of multifaceted actresses and stuntwomen, Olivia Dunkley and Michelle Jubilee Gonzalez.

Together, on top of a long and healthy friendship, the two present a culmination of numerous shared experiences on film which has now paved the way for a project of their own in the form of the hopeful action comedy production, How To Con A Con (a.k.a. Pros And Cons). The new film, which offsets their “Laugh-It-Off” Campaign to promote laughter and happiness, offers a great description of what the plot would entail and it goes a little something like this:

Alex and Jade are two sexy, sassy and conniving con artists, who have recently acquired the Queen’s Ruby from Logan Preston’s safe.  However, the joke is on them when the formidable Logan Preston shows up on their doorstep the next day demanding his ruby back, and with evidence of their crime!  But, these two conniving females have some tricks up their sleeves and they aren’t letting the Queen’s Ruby go without a fight!

However, when Logan’s sister, gets kidnapped, the kidnappers convince the girls that it’s time to get involved and give the guy a break.  After all, they’ve been kidnapped too!

With the help of Logan’s friend Anthony, the four of them have to figure out how to save Logan’s sister, how to save themselves, and how to save the Queen’s Ruby.

Explosions, fights, traps, and betrayal ensue, as they battle the bad guys, and try to make a clean get away!  Will they trust each other enough to survive in this classic, who’s conning who battle of wits?  Or will they lose the real prize in the end?

How To Con A Con is a bold, notable independent project aimed a feel-good story full of action, high jinks and plenty of laughs. In turn however, it is also one that is not without its staple share of monetary production demands as it will be shot in Los Angeles, and that’s where you come in.
The film is currently seeking funding through online crowdsourcing via fans on Facebook, and its official campaign page on Indiegogo where netizens can learn more about the team and the project itself, as well as how to donate and what perks you may be able to win thanks to your generosity. As always though, if you can’t donate, please share the Indiegogo link with friends and help How To Con A Con become a reality! *Wink-wink, nudge-nudge*
