Streaming Sleepers: Jovanka Vukovic’s RIOT GIRLS Rage On Prime Video
Sales agent LevelFILM was out and about back in 2019 hitting festival floors with Jovanka Vukovic’s coming-of-age thriller romp, Riot Girls. I hadn’t heard or seen from the film ever since but I’ve only just discovered its availability on Amazon Prime here in the U.S. and its worth a watch for anyone curious.
To sum up, Madison Iseman and Paloma Kwiatkowski are two teenagers forced to survive alongside or opposite their peers in a suburban dystopia where a mysterious anomaly has eradicated all adults. The film also stars Turbo Kid actor Munro Chambers who plays the villainous toxic leader of a self-styled regime of jocks our heroines must fend off.
