STRIKING RESCUE: NAMELESS On The Way With Ashton Chen And Andy On For The New Action Sequel

A sequel to 2024’s Striking Rescue wasn’t what I or maybe anyone expected, but that’s reportedly what’s coming as photos making the rounds online are indicating. Plot details for Striking Rescue: Nameless are a mystery but the film does reteam director Cheng Siyu with leading man Ashton Chen following The Sin Trade, and actor Hong Junjia following the first film, with Andy On joining in on the sequel.
Cheng directed 2024’s Striking Rescue which followed the role of a martial artist and widower, played by Tony Jaa, who takes up the role of protector for a young girl when his quest for vengeance unearths a dark family conspiracy involving a vicious cartel intent on her kidnapping. Hong previously appeared in the first film as the girl’s assigned bodyguard who joins in on the lateral end of our hero’s explosive mission.
The cast for Striking Rescue: Nameless also lists Liu Fengchao, Clara Lee and Gong Ruolan, Liang Dongyu, Hu Xiaoyuan, and Wei Ziqian among the roster. Guo Yulong, who serviced action on the first installment is back to do the same on the newest.
