20th Century Fox is fast tracking production of the sixth installment of the Die Hard franchise. Actor Bruce Willis, who has played the lead role in film now five-part film series as the larger-than-life New York Detective John McClaine, announced the film upon the theatrical release of A Good Day To Die Hard, which also stars Jai Courtney.
You may recall a little film recently released called A Good Day To Die Hard directed by John Moore and starring Bruce Willis reprising the classic role of New York City cop and reluctant anti-terrorist agent of the world, John McClaine who always happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. The film also starred Jai Courtney as his son, who happened to be a government spy working in Russia as dad drops into get him out of trouble.
Well, I went and saw Die Hard 5 last night. It isn’t better than Die Hard 4, just a little bigger in size and scope with a lot of explosions and car/truck crashes, but it brings something worth looking forward to when Die Hard 6 comes out. It was larger in scope, taking place in Russia amidst political turmoil and unrest, and holds its own with epic gun battles action scenes to keep viewers interested.
