Robert Samuels (HKSA) Signs With American Talent Management
Actor and martial artist Robert Samuels has signed with Burbank-based American Talent Management for representation as director. The move marks the latest for Samuels, based in Philadelphia, who has long been active in independent film production on both sides of the lens for the better part of the last decade. Samuels is prominently known among extensive circles of Hong Kong action cinema fandom. Following a series of prospective trips to Hong Kong in the eighties, Samuels eventually found his footing under the stewardship of action legend Sammo Hung in the early nineties, later becoming the first African American member inducted into the Hong Kong Stuntman Association.
