EW Entertainment Weekly rolled out a bunch of exclusives on Wednesday, including new photos from director David Leitch’s latest, Atomic Blonde. The film is inspired by Antony Johnston’s 2013 novel, The Coldest City, for which actress Charlize Theron acquired the rights several years ago, and for reasons she so explains here in her statement to EW regarding her role: “I hadn’t seen another character like her out there,” Theron says. “She doesn’t apologize for anything. We made her strong and feisty. She’s cheeky.
