“Legacies don’t come easy.” That’s the tagline introduced on the first poster for The Bikeriders, the newest crime drama from writer-director Jeff Nichols coming to theaters December 1 following its Telluride screening late last month. The film stars Jodie Comer and Austin Butler, and actor Tom Hardy, along with Michael Shannon, Mike Faist and Norman Reedus. Kathy, a strong-willed member of the Vandals who’s married to a wild, reckless bikerider named Benny, recounts the Vandals’ evolution over the course of a decade, beginning as a local club of outsiders united by good times, rumbling bikes, and respect for their strong, steady leader Johnny. Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the official trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two. The film reboots the classic sci-fi from director David Lynch, now in the provenly capable hands of director Denis Villeneuve following the first film’s hit 2021 release. “Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee. The sci-fi property is based on Frank Herbert’s “Dune” novel series which has multiple issues.
