KALEIDOSCOPE: Alexander Nevsky Tackles Serial Killer Thriller With ‘Rio Bravo’ Director

Promise director Joe Cornet will film Kaleidoscope this Fall, reteaming with actor and producer Alexander Nevsky. The two will also be joined by actress Bai Ling (The Crow) who will play “a mysterious beautiful woman who may or may not be a serial killer” according to an e-mail announcement this week following earlier news broken via JoBlo last week. Says Ling: “With my excitement I’m sharing this good news with you: I’ll be starring in a new thriller called KALEIDOSCOPE! Script is very good and I love my character. She’s very classy and special, she has all the good qualities you would like to see in a woman. Considering I’m in my thirties as I wrote this, I suppose the late director Amir Shervan’s 1991 flop, Samurai Cop was something that I should already have seen by now. Well, I haven’t. Point in fact I had only seen it in December of late 2015, and long after the hype train took off stemmimg from the imminent fascination surrounding actor Mathew Karedas’s re-emergence from obscurity a few years ago. Watch The New Trailer For ASSASSIN'S GAME With Mark Mikita And Tom Sizemore

Director Anoop Rangi‘s latest actioner, Assassin’s Game, is set to release on home platforms this May courtesy of Lionsgate. Headlining are actresses Vivica A. Fox and Bai Ling with actor Tom Sizemore front and center although actor and martial arts instructor Mark Mikita is the principle focus of the story while also serving as the film’s fight choreographer. Of course, the title is nothing to be proud of as said distributor here is no stranger to this sort of thing. At any rate, Assassin’s Game presents a nice little trailer to help sell to action fans and it looks pretty good. Not a fan of the narration though. Just saying.
