Netflix At the end of the day, it really was a matter of time after rumors began swirling of serial treatment for the Punisher on Netflix. This past Spring saw actor Jon Bernthal introducing the character viewers earlier this year in the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil opposite Charlie Cox, and the responses have been nothing short of approving from critics and fans alike. As such, a series was greenlit in April this year and production is now underway, and as reported by several sources this year, continues the evolution of Frank Castle into the iconic crimefighting alter-ego as the series moves forward following Daredevil. SEVENTH SON Gets A Brand New Trailer And Poster For Its 2015 Release

On its face, watching actor Jeff Bridges wax medieval with a British accent doesn’t sit well with me, even in the latest trailer for the long-awaited release of Nomad (2005) and Mongol (2007) helmer Sergei Bodrov‘s forthcoming fantasy actioner, Seventh Son. However, considering the epic series of set backs that followed with Academy Award-winning VFX house Rhythm And Hues Studios filed for bankruptcy during post production and Legendary Pictures landing the film at Universal Pictures for distribution after parting ways with Warner Bros., I’d say the actor’s methods are the least of my worries, lest I judge the film too soon.
