I would’ve posted an Instagram teaser on Sunday evening for the Hit List, but I definitely needed time to recuperate from Saturday evening. Needless to say, it was a blast from the Far East. Now it’s time to blast back into another installment of The Hit List, starting with a new round of stunt reels from today’s working professionals and up-and-comers: Christine Trinh, Rebecca Ferguson, Martin Wan, Nicklas Hansson, Omar Zaki, Judd Wild, Wilson Sze, Jeska Pike, Jessie Simpson, Ed Heavey, Mariam Macip, Alexandra Hansler, Line Phe, Michelle Andrews, Erin Haus, Jesse Haus and Garrett Dumas. Rounding out the playlist are stunt Ann Arbor’s own Ring Of Steel Action Theatre in Michigan, and reels by stunt coordinators Ian Eyre and T.J. White. The good news is I’m getting back a little bit more into a steady viewing of anime. Finished season 3 of My Hero Academia and caught up with the latest in the Silver Soul arc of Gintama, plus I’ve just started picking back up on features I’ve been missing out on so expect some more reviews if possible. …The bad news, it seems is the well still may be drying up in terms of weekly Hit List candidates, though I hope this isn’t long term and especially since I know folks out there are still either filming or preparing projects. The anime catch-up with SAO: GGO and Fist Of The Blue Sky: Regenesis was nice though. Well, it’s been a weekend for anyone and everyone who’s been to the movies to see Avengers: Infinity War. My time won’t be for another week though, so I definitely made some use of the time I had while at work. I had it in mind this weekend to try and review a couple of films. That effort compounded into one and mainly for all of the stunt reel and shortfilm content I absorbed. A lot of the entries I found and received were overwhelmingly good, although there was just some fat I had to cut. But… I think this is a delightful gathering! It’s definitely been a busy start to my November, but I can’t complain too much. Festival news has been rolling out with some great updates and I’m looking forward to doing something awesome later this week which should make for a wonderful little bookmark for my 2017. As for all else, The Hit List has arrived and you are more than welcome to take your time with this seven hour and fifty-minute adventure of indie action creative fervor and stunt excellence. I seriously did not see this coming and I’ll explain why later. ?
