IRON FIST (2017): Episode One Reaction, And Why I Will Continue To Watch

It’s been undoubtedly a rough year for Marvel fans who’ve waited to see what would stick and what wouldn’t from showrunner and executive producer Scott Buck’s treatment of comic book property, Iron Fist. I’ve waited as a matter of maybe fifteen years since actor and martial artist Ray Park was slated to star in his own movie inspired by the character and for what it’s worth, I’m glad I lived this long to see something come of it, even if a number of fans out in the world can’t afford or simply don’t have Netflix, which sucks. Netflix Series MARCO POLO Filming Is Underway

Offering another reason why anyone should have access to Netflix is the brand new nine-episode action adventure series, Marco Polo, which has already begun principal photography set for Venice, Kazakhstan and Malaysia before airing later this year. The news comes following its initial announcement for Starz in 2012 from creator and executive producer John Fusco, prior to its subsequent move to Netflix, in addition to news of an unrelated film currently in development over at Warner Bros. Leading the way is Italian actor Lorenzo Richelmy (pictured left) who will play the title role, with actress Zhu Zhu, and actors Benedict Wong, Tom Wu, Remy Hii and Rick Yune rounding out the principle cast.
