It’s been a little over a month since it was announced that actors Nicholas Tse and Bruce Wills are joined together among a slew of stars for Xiao Feng‘s upcoming World War II epic, The Bombing. There’s no question this particular title is just one of several in China’s efforts to spearhead its productivity into the mainstream with the rest of the world, specifically with its international out reach to big name film stars, and this month’s latest addition now brings in actor Mel Gibson to the crew as per a press release following an announcement last week. Willis, Momoa Set To Film An Untitled L.A. Action Comedy Later This Month

Why can’t we just leave the dog out of it? With the exception of Wake earlier this year, actor Bruce Willis has been keeping himself pretty busy so far with newly completed titles such as Extraction, Precious Cargo and Barry Levinson’s October release of Rock The Kasbah. This week now, THR reports that director/producer sibs Rob and Mark Cullen have been assigned to a tentatively untiled action comedy that reunites them with Willis since scripting the actor’s 2010 cop comedy, Cop Out. The film, which begins shooting later this June, pits Willis with actor Jason Momoa in the story of a Los Angeles private eye forced to work for a crimeboss whose gang kidnaps his dog. Silicon Valley series lead actor Jason Middleditch is also cast as a geek helping Willis‘s character with X-Men saga principle, actress Famke Janssen playing his sister-in-law. Bruce Willis To Carry Max Adams's PRECIOUS CARGO

Actor Bruce Willis‘s career in action movies isn’t ending anytime soon. Deadline reports his next film will be shooting in Biloxi, Mississippi titled Precious Cargo, the first in a ten-picture deal between Emmett/Furla/Oasis and Lionsgate which will be sold at Cannes through Highland Film Group. Willis will star as a crime boss looking to score on another person’s heist, with helmer Max Adams directing from a script he wrote based on a 2008 short. The film is the latest Willis is set to star in following completion on Steven C. Miller’s Extraction which adams co-wrote, with Willis‘s departure accompanied by director John Pogue from the revenge pic, Wake when financing complications arose earlier this year. Extraction is expected to arrive in 2016 with other titles pending. Check back for more info as it comes!

Kellan Lutz in THE EXPENDABLES 3 From Lionsgate Director Steven C. Miller‘s latest action thriller, Extraction, has only just begun filming, and casting news is finally making the rounds. The film began principal photography just yesterday in Mobile, Alabama with producers Randall Emmett and George Furla and Adam Goldworm on hand, and now the film has officially added one other key cast member for the film’s plot. Following the film’s announcement last month with action stars Bruce Willis and MMA fighter-turned-actress Gina Carano attached, Deadline is confirming the addition of actor Kellan Lutz to the mix. Screendaily is reporting that Bruce Willis is attached to star in John Pogue‘s new thriller, Wake, which begins filming next month. The film will get some sales attention next month at the EFM in Berlin while Pogue, Willis and the cast and crew commense filming in Cleveland, Ohio on February 16. From Benaroya Pictures with revivals of Chris Borelli’s script by Pogue, Wake will center on Willis‘s role as a sociopathic exile who defends his family after coming home to his childhood roots on a remote island to pay respects to his late brother. There’s no word yet on who else will be cast, although fans who’ve enjoyed Willis’s recent stints with helmer Brian A. It’s always a good day when you’re an action movie fan and something good is on the way, such is the case with the exhiliarating new trailer for The Prince from director Brian A. Miller, following the first trailer which arrived last month. Jason Patric leads the way opposite actor Bruce Willis in a rather unusual role as a movie villain, which should be interesting in an otherwise promising set up for a story loaded with its staple share of intense drama and thrilling action. SYNOPSIS: A retired assassin is drawn back into the life he gave up when his daughter is kidnapped. To rescue her, he must confront his former rival. John Cusack (Drive Hard) also stars with, Curtis Jackson (Escape Plan), and South Korean actor Rain (Ninja Assassin). The promotional campaign for the latest noir action crime follow-up from co-directors Robert Rodriguez and graphic novelist Frank Miller, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, had a small share of mild controversy in the past few weeks due to the MPAA’s banned poster with actress Eva Green’s right boob; A non-issue if you ask me. I dig the poster, and I’m hard-pressed to believe I’m alone in its approval. At any rate, the film is poised to release nationwide on August 22. Joe 3 will bring screenwriter Evan Daugherty on board. The report from THR comes in roughly three months after director Jon M. Chu announced the film back in July with Retaliation co-stars Bruce Willis and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson confirmed to return, while a writer was still being “narrowed down”. G.I. What is interesting to me so far is the distinct possibility that Storm Shadow, played by Byung-hun Lee could be siding with the heroes this time around, after his last appearance in the first film. Well, I went and saw Die Hard 5 last night. It isn’t better than Die Hard 4, just a little bigger in size and scope with a lot of explosions and car/truck crashes, but it brings something worth looking forward to when Die Hard 6 comes out. It was larger in scope, taking place in Russia amidst political turmoil and unrest, and holds its own with epic gun battles action scenes to keep viewers interested. To be honest, I missed a good few bits of it toward the end because I was falling asleep. That could be because it was real late at night and my body started shutting down in my seat because of it.
