Ken Takakura and Chieko Baisho screen romances were something special that went beyond any definition that words could express. They were restrained and quiet on the surface but passionate and intense underneath. This classic from Japanese cinema directed by Yasuo Furuhata (Demon Yasha) hides on its plot a story of vengeance that is caught into a love story. 2 hours and 15 minutes of feelings put into images and two terrific actors that put on display their incredible talent in an acting masterclass, to tell a story about regrets, in which Ken Takakura plays a detective training to be a sharpshooter at Olympics who goes out of his way to crack the case of a serial killer specialising in policeman murders when his coach is gunned down by a fleeing criminal. Haley Bennett Reunites With Washington And Fuqua For THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN!

Last year’s go-around with the Denzel Washington/Antoine Fuqua hit pairing, The Equalizer, turned out some really amazing from its cast. One such performance came from supporting actress Haley Bennett who plays a friend to that of lead actress Chloe Grace Moretz in the story of a monastic former government operative whose fight for a young girl’s freedom from human traffickers turned into a sprawling one-man war against an entire criminal organization, and at the rate we’re going, we could very well see a sequel. Before then, director Fuqua and our lead actor Washington are bound to rejoin for the production of The Magnificent Seven as of last June – a remake of the original 1960 classic western directed by John Sturges and starring Yul Brenner and Steve McQueen. The Point Break Remake Has Acquired Itself A Director

Deadline is reporting this week that cinematographer Ericson Core will direct the upcoming remake of the 1991 blockbuster action rush feature flick, Point Break. The news comes a little over a year and a half after Alcon Entertainment announced it required the rights in 2011, then issuing a press release: Alcon principals Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson secured rights to the project the week of the original film’s 20th anniversary from RGM Media, John McMurrick and Chris Taylor. Kosove and Johnson will produce along with Michael DeLuca, John Baldecchi, Chris Taylor and Kurt Wimmer (“Salt,” “Law Abiding Citizen,” upcoming “Total Recall”), who also wrote the screenplay. RGM Media principal Devesh Chetty and investor John McMurrick, Chairman of Marloss Entertainment, will serve as Executive Producers.
