Welcome to the May 2018 edition of ACTION STREAM! After a pretty quiet April, May kicks down the door and bombards us with great action movies on all three platforms. Albert Pyun’s CYBORG Gets Full Specs From Scream Factory With An April Release

Shout Factory’s Scream Factory shingle finally unveiled the long-awaited specs for the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray of Albert Pyun’s classic sci-fi actioner, Cyborg. The product was announced last summer prior to its date having been moved twice but the word now is that the Blu-Ray will hit online shelves beginning April 24, 2018 in the U.S. and Canada, with purchases available at the official website. Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as the future’s most fearsome warrior in this adrenaline-charged sci-fi thriller. Marvel muscled up its repetoire on Tuesday with a new addition to its comic book line to possibly accompany its third impending installment of Captain America 3, essentially opening the door to a new phase in their cinematic universe. This comes as DC Entertainment and Warner Bros have been aiming to go neck-and-neck with their current focus on director Zack Synder’s Batman V. Superman: The Dawn Of Justice, following their blockbuster success with Man Of Steel last year, in addition to the development of other properties for film.
