Dave Green’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows wasn’t something I got to see at the theaters, and judging by box office returns I don’t think there will be a third, which is unfortunate. I actually wanted to see more of what the studio had to offer following the introduction of Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang onto the big screen for the first time as it meant so much for this to happen and I actually kinda hope that a third film happens. The principal cast did sign a three-picture deal, so it’s not too late, methinks. At any rate, the latest film is heading to home video this Fall, and with a few cool trinkets as well. Judging by what we’ve seen in the latest trailers and featurettes for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows, there’s no question that Paramount, Platinum Dunes and Nickelodeon upped the ante some. I’m pretty sure I’ll be checking it out while I’m not too sure when considering my schedule, but the studio is making it available for a one-week IMAX engagement starting at 5:00pm showings on June 2, and so if you’re able to attend a  true IMAX theaters, there’s no doubt you’ll be seeing plenty of Turtle, Shredder and mutant action to get your money’s worth. Director Dave Green’s new film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows is pretty much selling itself right now. It’s not showing much footage than it already has but it’s still teasing a little bit here and there while we finally have a synopsis going. On that end, I’d say the cards were played just right this time around in getting fans interested in a sequel to Jonathan Liebesman’s 2014, and with further inclusion of characters familiar with roots of the source material after so many years waiting (Krang? Bebop? Rocksteady? Talking to you, 1990). Let’s just hope this one is worth the hype when it releases in June.
