Disney+ Delivers The R-Rated Goods With DEADPOOL, DEADPOOL 2 And LOGAN
Disney+ is ramping up its R-rated content this Friday with the releases of Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Logan, according to the trades and press announcements on Thursday. All three films will be made available in the U.S. under the Marvel brand.

Disney+ gave an earlier premiere kick-off on Friday for the first two episodes of the new series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, reviving its Star Wars series format following the successes of the first two seasons of The Mandalorian and season one of The Book Of Boba Fett. With each show taking up a certain space in the franchise timeline, we now have the newest addition returning title star Ewan McGregor to the role the late Alec Guiness birthed in George Lucas’s maiden 1977 release of Episode IV: A New Hope.
Marvel Confirms New DAREDEVIL Series For Disney+
Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to write and executive produce a new Daredevil series for Disney+, a move that makes things all but official following years of rumors since its Netflix cancellation in 2018, and recent confirmation that series actor Charlie Cox’s cameo in a recent Marvel/Sony pic affirmed that his portrayal is canon for the MCU.
LOKI Adds ‘The Endless’ Directors To Shepherd Season Two
Disney+ hit series, Marvel Studios’ Loki, will get a second season, with Deadline‘s Justin Kroll reporting exclusively on the addition of directing duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (The Endless, Synchronic). The two will direct a majority of the six-episode second season from a script by Eric Martin, with series star Tom Hiddleston joined by Michael Waldron to executive produce season two.
THE MANDALORIAN: Check Out The Official Logo And A Quartet Of First Look Stills From The Disney+ Series
The panel over at Star Wars Celebration this weekend for upcoming series, The Mandalorian, were reluctant to reveal any footage in the live-stream beyond the indoor crowd (save for the ones who braved it with their phones and leaked it on YouTube). Nevertheless, Disney/Lucasfilm proudly revealed several first looks at some of the key characters in costume via social media which you can view below.
