JOHNNY TWO-GUNS Nabs Dominic Sena To Direct

Gone In Sixty Seconds and Swordfish helmer Dominic Sena is poised for his next action drama making noise this week in Berlin. Sena will direct Johnny Two-Guns with full shopping and financing from Green-Light International with Oriah Entertainment also on board and producing.

The script from Dito Montiel (Fighting), Allan Ungar (Gridlocked) and Chad Law (Close Range) sets on Johnny “Two-Guns” Trale, a war veteran and marksman fresh from Afghanistan whose wife and daughter turn up missing, forcing him to work as a strongarm for a corrupt music mogul in order to finance his search to rescue his family. Variety reports filming is expected to commence sometime this year while international sales begin with Christian de Gallegos, Jeff Elliott and Chad Moore spearheading for GLI.

The report also lists several more of GLI’s current slate, including John McTiernan’s Thin Rain, Tim Hill’s Big Sexy, actor Daniel Radcliffe’s upcoming role in Imperium as of late last year, and James Lapine’s Custody.
