The fourth quarter nears as we approach the upcoming release of director David Leitch’s highly-anticipated sequel, the newly-titled DP2. Its assembly hasn’t been without its stumbles though, including and not limited to recent reshoots in hopes of attaining a better exclusive test audience score, which it reportedly achieved earlier this week.

Say what you will of the plot per its official synopsis per the studio’s continued fourth wall-breaking themes, a brand new trailer arrived on Thursday ahead of its May 18 release. Rounding out the roster of newbies and familiars are Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand and Jack Kesy, along with any other mystery cameos waiting behind the curtain – X-Force members Terry Crews and actress Kutsuna Shioli notwithstanding.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Oh and some guy named Ryan stars and produces as well. So there’s that.
