THE HIT LIST: May 29, 2017

My weekend was pretty good. I finally managed to relax a little on Saturday and Sunday with some obligatory movie viewing before commencing putting together tonight’s Hit List. Speaking of which, there is a LOT to cover so, let’s get onto it with the latest updated stunt reel by Jazzy Ellis, and other new stunt and training reels by some of today’s top and up-and-coming stunt performers, including Nik Pelekai (more on him later), Kristina Baskett, Kevin Rogers, Kyla Hymas, Cris Fonseca, Christina Howe, Bryan Vigier, Eric C. Sun, Kent Lloyd, Brandon McClary, Robert Steven Brown (more on him later) and Kefi Abrikh. If anyone needs me, I’ll be spending the week collecting my brain between articles and work so I can recover from my near-sleepless weekend. For the record though…no, I’m not complaining. Headshot was awesome! As for all else, this week’s HIT LIST is here for your enjoyment with another round of stunt and demo reels, promo goodies and action-packed shortfilms. Canadian stunt troupe K Dynamique kicks things off with a new reel of their own followed by Jared Blake DiCroce, Mark Miscione, Eurico Senna and the award-winning fiery stylings of Rachel Novak. So, I finally saw John Wick: Chapter Two and you can read my review here… Yes, I am as happy as a fat kid at a salad bar replaced by a chocolate cake vendor. Moving on, the Hit List is here for a new week and it’s an absolute shit ton of awesome and we kick it right off like we normally do with a raft of cool new stunt and training demo reels by today’s top performers. My weekend was loaded with work – I hope I can hold up this week! Goodness… Friday evening was fantastic though and I ended up using all of Saturday to write about it which you can read more on here. For all else, it’s time for the Hit List and we begin with another fine grouping of stunt action and training reels by some of today’s best and up-and-coming performers. Stacie Rathbone kicks things off nice and high with a mackin’ new reel of her own, as well as the Arkham Assassin himself, Spencer Mulligan, followed by reels from Michelle DeMond, Jerry Quill, the delightful Cheryl Lewis, Jeffrey Olynek, Adair Moran, Nate Ozeroff, Jared Beaulieu, Clancy Petersen, Rhys Williams and Tamas Haygo. I did something a little different this weekend while I was putting the Hit List together – at five reels, I decided to watch it all the way through and it was pretty refreshing since normally I watch mostly snippets in the course of browsing just to get a good feel of how it all plays out so I can work faster. I may change my approach there. ☺ Anyway, onward and forward we go for this week’s installment of The Hit List with the latest round of amazing stunt reels and various shortfilm projects, promotional or otherwise full in release.
