Guess Who's Coming To Hell's Kitchen In DAREDEVIL Season 2?!
The second season of Netflix’s popular and successful Marvel property, Daredevil is already underway with huge promise. Charlie Cox is back in the title role and donning the red uniform with the intent on delivering his own brand of unmitigated justice to New York City’s criminal dark underbelly, and it won’t be long before our blind Hell’s Kitchen lawyer-by-day finds himself going toe-to-toe with actor Jon Berenthal in the series debut of Frank Castle – a.k.a. The Punisher.
However, don’t rest on what you think you already know, because things are about to get a little more crowded in this corner of the Big Apple with the emergence of another new face of anti-heroic justice. Check out the new graphic below:
Like the hardware? Thought so. And yes, word has it at G.I. Joe: Retaliation co-star Elodie Yung will be displaying her screenfighting prowess in the role sai-wielding vigilante, female ninja Elektra, based on the Marvel character created by Frank Miller in 1981. Yung ultimately carries the torch from actress Jennifer Garner who brought the character to life in Mark Steven Johnson’s adaptation of Daredevil in 2003 starring next to Ben Affleck prior to the anti-heroine getting her own standalone movie a few years later with Bob Sapp, Terence Stamp and Will Yun Lee starring.
Daredevil premieres its second season on Netflix in 2016 following its announcement back in April. Stay tuned for more info!

Actress SHARNI VINSON Wants To Be 'Next' To Play 'Lara Croft' And 'Elektra'!
MGM previously announced their partnership with GKFilms development of the Tomb Raider reboot back in March, with GK Films founder Graham King producing. GK Films initially acquired the rights from Square Enix back in 2011. As far as Elektra goes, nothing has been reported on it other than previous talk of a Daredevil that is still up in the air, but with Joe Carnahan no longer attached. Whatever happens though, Vinson definitely has the image to carry both characters, as well as the physicality. And I certainly hope she gets either role or even both.
