[UPDATED] Mechanical Dragons Presents: LOBO Fan-Trailer

As of last year, any development on a potential adaptation of fellow DC Comics property, Lobo, fell short with the departure of actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. That said, I’m pretty sure that doesn’t matter much now that Warner Bros. is immersing itself more into its newly developing cinematic universe building up to its forthcoming twofer, Justice League, although the idea of bringing the character to life for the big screen is still something that some find worth experimenting with. Today marks 41st anniversary since passing of legendary actor, martial artist, superstar and trailblazer Bruce Lee. In light of this, someone at the official YouTube channel for The Unusual Suspects made a brilliant fan trailer for Enter the Dragon with an almost beat-for-beat approach to last year’s teaser for director Gareth Evans’s The Raid 2 with music by eighteenth century composer George Frederic Handel. With all the fanfare around Evans’s hit film especially on a sobering day like today, this little gem speaks for itself, and could not have arrived at a better time. Check it out!

I’m noticing a theme this week. Fan-made material appears to be getting a LOT of buzz in the month of February. A new Resident Evil fan film was just made, Infinities Edge Studios unveiled Tomb Raider fan film with another fan tribute along the way, and Eric Jacobus’s new Star Wars experimental FPS, Vader Strikes, has garnished over 100, 000 views in just two days on Youtube. Pan over to Jessie V. Johnson, who has gained well over 20 years of credentials as a stuntman, writer, producer, cameraman, stunt coordinator and action filmmaker, and decided to bring his experience to a new level, with a conceptual approach to a Wonder Woman movie fan trailer, starring Nina Bergman in the title role with Peter Stomare.
