Battleground and Sixty Minutes To Midnight director Neil Mackay’s latest turn at the survival genre brings us the otherwise aptly titled Death Hunt. The story is set in the rural Midwest in 1998, where Ray (Omar Tucci), a wealthy land developer, is looking to shake things up, much to the chagrin of the reluctant farming locals. TRIGUN STAMPEDE 3D Re-imagining of Anime Classic TRIGUN Announced

Nearly 25 years after the original Trigun anime aired, the legendary story returns to the screen with a new, 3d anime by Studio Orange (Beastars, Land of the Lustrous) called TRIGUN STAMPEDE. As a bonus, people outside Japan won’t have to wait long to enjoy this new take on a classic as Crunchyroll has confirmed that they will air the series on their platform next year. Further details are expected at a panel at Anime Expo 2022, where series creator Yasuhiro Nightow will be in attendance along with staffers from Orange and Toho. The TRIGUN Anime Expo panel will be July 2nd at the JW Marriott Hotel, and will require an AE 2022 badge to attend. It was announced by Deadline that Jenny Klein, producer on The Witcher and Marvel series Jessica Jones on Netflix, would be joining the team for the upcoming Power Rangers Netflix series. Jenny will be joining Executive Producer Jonathan Entwistle (I Am Not Okay With This, The End of the F***ing World) and writer Bryan Edward Hill (Titans, Ash vs Evil Dead) on the project, which has been described as a “cinematic universe” by Entwistle and will feature “some familiar faces… in a brand new universe…” according to a recent Twitter post.
