Going forward, we now have a look at new martial arts thriller, Unleashed, fresh out of the mainland and headed for an April 19 streaming date exclusively on IQIYI. Starring Sun Feng Zhen, Ken Low, Zheng Zi Peng and Sam Lee, the film follows an underground boxer out to settle the score with his master’s rival, a former champion fresh out of prison and looking for retribution. Martial Club is still proliferating their brand in the fields of martial arts, health and wellness, stunts and action cinema. To date, they’re still committed to their YouTube audience while working on their own endeavors, which no less includes their very own feature film. Team member Andy Le announced the project in November 2018, as a declaration to unilaterally grow and evolve toward making their own opportunities happen. “Martial arts action cinema was the platform that inspired me to do martial arts. It’s been a while since Pluto director Son Seung-hyun’s name popped up anywhere. I supposed now’s good a time as any with the otherwise slated April release for his recent career follow-up, Bodyguard, which features Kang Seok-chul, and actress Yoo Ye-bin. The gist? Basically it’s a tale gangsters and corporate goons, and a fated reunion between an employee for a shipping company, and the woman he rescues.
