Howard J. Ford’s High-Altitude Action Thriller, THE LEDGE, Shoots This Fall

GFM Films’s genre shingle, GFM Evolution will be on hand at Cannes to pitch Never Let Go helmer Howard J. Ford’s latest action thriller, The Ledge, which will go before cameras this September. Evolution Pictures’s own Rod Smith and Edoardo Bussi will produce along with aid from Italy’s Videa SPA .

Ford will direct from a screenplay by Tom Boyle’ that sets our story in the Italian Dolemites where Kelly, on the run after witnessing the murder of her best friend Sophie, must free climb to the summit of a rock wall in order to escape the killers who now want her dead. Independent Talent Group’s Lucy Heller is spearheading the casting process.

Edoardo Bussi, GFM Films’ sales director added: “When I read the script of The Ledge I felt the perfect home for the production would be the Dolomites Mountains in Italy and we have worked to put together a great international team to bring the story to the screen.”

Graphic artist Mike Kus was commissioned earlier on to design the initial sales art which will be shown at Cannes for buyers. Check it out below!
