Wednesday evening saw the official trailer for Painted Creek Productions’ new sci-fi action thriller, Abeyance. Multi award-winning actor/filmmaker and European Martial Arts Champion Harley Wallen (Betrayed, Bennett’s Song) wrote, produced and directed the film starring Scout Taylor Compton, Richard Tyson, Billy Wirth, Vida Ghaffari and veteran actor Mel Novak.
Versatile martial arts champion and multi-award winning writer and director Harley Wallen (Into A Dark Mind) will star in, as well as direct sci-fi action thriller, Abeyance from Painted Creek Productions. The film stars Damien Chinappi, as well as actresses Kaiti Wallen and Angelina Danielle Cama with a story centered on Corey, a troubled and suicidal vet military vet who, along with Stephanie, a prostitute an unlikely sidekick, get swept into a darker, dangerous and more complex world upon trying to foil rescue a captive young girl named Miranda.
The cast is joined by Scout Taylor-Compton (The Runaways, Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween 2), Richard Tyson (Kindergarten Cop, Black Hawk Down), Billy Wirth (The Lost Boys), Mel Novak (Bruce Lee’s Game of Death) and Yan Birch (Death House), along with Vida Ghaffari (The Mindy Project, upcoming Nation’s Fire), Shane Hagedorn (Wild Faith) and Calhoun Koenig (Moving Parts). Cameras will roll this month in Pontiac Michigan.
