The New Red Band HOTEL ARTEMIS Trailer Totally Kills It

Leave it to Jodie Foster who throws down with one the best lines moviegoers can expect on June 8 with the upcoming thriller, Hotel Artemis. Drew Pearce makes his directing debut with an action-packed sci-fi dystopia tale about a hidden hospital within a rustic, old hotel for criminals.

In HOTEL ARTEMIS, set in riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles, Jodie Foster plays The Nurse, who runs a secret, members-only emergency room for criminals. Surrounded by an all-star cast that includes Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista, HOTEL ARTEMIS is a stylish, high-octane action-thriller written and directed by Drew Pearce (writer of IRON MAN 3, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION, SHERLOCK HOLMES 3).

HOTEL ARTEMIS: Check Out The Poster For The New Action Thriller

Now that we’ve seen the trailer per last week’s kickoff for Drew Pearce’s directorial debut, we’re now getting a look at some snazzy artwork for Hotel Artemis which opens on June 8. Central to the narrative is actress Jodie Foster as the head nurse whose hidden hospital within a criminals-only hotel and its residents are upended by the arrival of a wounded crimeboss and the admittance of a deadly killer with nefarious intentions.

Also starring are Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Charlie Day, Jeff Goldblum, Zachary Quinto, Bryan Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate and the always rewarding Dave Bautista. Peep the spiffy new poster below!

Sofia Boutella Is In Talks For Residency In Futuristic Actioner, HOTEL ARTEMIS

Cannes is only three weeks away from when Lionsgate will introduce its goods to buyers, which will also include Iron Man 3 scribe Drew Pearce’s debut directorial offering, Hotel Artemis. The film has Pearce directing from his own script with actress Jodie Foster leading the film set in a futuristic Los Angeles where the head nurse of a secret medical facility for elite criminals which comes under attack.
Thus, given the latest report from Variety, it’s not yet clear where actress Sofia Boutella could fit into all this but the word now is that she is in talks for a role of her own joining foster and actor Dave Bautista. Boutella’s running high from a terrific line of credits including Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek: Beyond, has an eventful summer heading in her direction with Alex Kurtzman’s The Mummy on June 9, and David Leitch’s Atomic Blonde on July 28.
Marc Platt (La La Land) is producing Hotel Artemis with Adam Siegel and The Ink Factory’s own Simon Cornwell and Stephen Cornwell.
