Sam Worthington Will Say A HUNTER'S PRAYER, Filming Next Year
Actor Sam Worthington is only a few months away from starting production in New Zealand with the rest of the accumulating cast of director James Cameron’s epic Avatar saga between now and the next several years. In the meantime, the actor also has his hands full on a lesser CG-heavy action thriller which he will start shooting next year in Hungary with director Jonathan Mostow. The film is titled Hunter’s Prayer, based on author Kevin Wignall’s 2004 publication “For The Dogs”, which received critical acclaim and made available in the U.S. that year and in several territories thereafter. Worthington will play an assassin for hire who turns on his employers after a failed assignment to kill a young girl, forces them both on the run for their lives, with the only option of uncovering why her family was wiped out earlier on, and delivering justice to those responsible.
